Made with Almond oil + Quercetin + Vitamin C
1 fl. oz. | 30 ml.
What it is
A powerful anti-aging and rejuvenating formula for bright, rested, and supple eyes. (Is it normal to fall in love with an eye cream?)
Why we love it
Almond oil is a mild, hypoallergenic oil that can be safely used on all skin types. It's very rich in Vitamin E and targets dark circles and bags in the under eye area. You can expect to see brighter, less puffy eyes. Almond oil also delays general signs of aging as it renews the cells of your facial skin.
As an anti-inflammatory, Quercetin has soothing, redness-reducing properties. But there’s more to it than that! Flavonoids like Quercetin are antioxidants, so they help neutralize free radicals, one of the leading causes of aging. A study showed that when applied topically, Quercetin was a potent proteasome activator. In other words, it helped to rejuvenate middle-aged or dying cells and even stimulated the growth of new cells. In addition to helping skin cells function better, Quercetin can diminish fine lines and wrinkles and improve the skin’s texture and elasticity.
The antioxidant properties of Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and its role in collagen synthesis make vitamin C a vital molecule for skin health. Vitamin C limits the damage induced by ultraviolet (UV) light exposure. Vitamin C is not a “sunscreen” because it does not absorb light in the UVA or UVB spectrum. Rather, the antioxidant activity of vitamin C protects against UV-induced damage caused by free radicals.
How to use
Apply gently with your fingertip along the orbital bone, without pulling the skin. Tap delicately around the eye area until you feel the quick-burst release of hydration.
